Drinking Coffee Can Prevent Depression

A new study found that drinking coffee can prevent depression. This is one of the more exciting findings in recent years when it comes to the effects of coffee on our health and well-being. Antioxidant intake has been found in other studies to have positive effects on cardiovascular health, but this is one of the first investigations to look at the impact of antioxidants on the development of depression. The fact that coffee per day has a beneficial effect on heart health may explain why people feel happier after drinking a cup. However, when the caffeine was blocked, the same animals showed signs of heart failure.
